Like reconciliation forgiveness is one of the fundamental of true love and during this festive season, reconciliation normally occurs. Families that were otherwise divided come together as one. Disputes are settled and reconciliation is achieved. The essence of Christmas is to reconcile men to God and highlight the importance to let go of hurt that has been meted out to us. Christmas is so significant that new relationships are built and old relationships are renewed during this festive period. The advent of the internet has however made the sharing of hand-made cards to drop and e-cards to increase astronomically. Social websites are always flooded during this festive period, as friends find a way to share love through the exchange of gifts. The essence of Christmas goes beyond just showing love, sharing and building new relationships. It also involves carrying out self-meditations and making adjustments were necessary.
